ATLANTA (November 20, 2024) — On Monday, November 25, at 10:00 a.m., the Senate Study Committee on the Preservation of Georgia’s Farmlands, chaired by Sen. Billy Hickman (R–Statesboro), will hold its final meeting to propose and adopt the committee’s final report.

The Senate Study Committee on the Preservation of Georgia’s Farmlands was tasked with studying the conditions, needs, issues and problems related to the preservation of Georgia’s farmlands and recommending any action or legislation.
