ATLANTA (May 2, 2024) — On Friday, May 3, 2024, at 10 a.m., the Senate Special Committee on Investigations, chaired by Sen. Bill Cowsert (R-Athens), will hold its third hearing.

ABOUT THE MEETING:
The meeting will include sworn testimony from witnesses Robb Pitts and Sharon Whitmore and the production of documents pursuant to the subpoena. The committee’s goal is to thoroughly investigate the allegations of misconduct by the district attorney for Fulton County, Fani Willis, relating to potential conflicts of interest and misuse of public funds, to enact new or amend existing laws and/or change state appropriations to restore public confidence in the criminal justice system.
