ATLANTA (September 21, 2020) | On Friday, Sen. Kay Kirkpatrick (R – Marietta) was appointed by Gov. Brian P. Kemp to the Georgia Joint Defense Commission. Chosen to represent the Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Sen. Kirkpatrick will work alongside seven other representatives to various military bases across the state.

Sen. Kay Kirkpatrick on an Overview of the Legislative Session

ATLANTA (August 5, 2020) | Today, Sen. Kay Kirkpatrick (R – Marietta) joined Governor Brian P. Kemp for the final signing of bills for the 2020 legislative session. In total, the session saw the passage of 342 bills and resolutions, including local and general, 11 of which were legislation carried or sponsored by Sen. Kirkpatrick.

Sen. John Albers to Hold Teleconference Town Hall to Provide Update on Coronavirus Response

ATLANTA (April 13, 2020) | Sen. John Albers (R – Roswell) will hold a town hall conference call Thursday, April 16, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. to provide an update on the coronavirus crisis and outline resources available to Georgians. Sen. Albers will be joined by Sen. Kay Kirkpatrick (R – Marietta), a physician and a member of the Primary Care Provider Committee of Gov. Brian Kemp’s Coronavirus Taskforce who has fully recovered from COVID-19.

Senator Kay Kirkpatrick to Serve on Three Study Committees

ATLANTA (August 22, 2019) | Senator Kay Kirkpatrick (R – Marietta) was appointed by Lt. Governor Geoff Duncan to serve on three study committees: Senate Study Committee on Evaluating and Simplifying Physician Oversight of Physician Assistants and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Senate Study Committee on Protection from Sexual Predators and Senate Study Committee on Educational Development of African American Children in Georgia.
