ATLANTA (August 16, 2017) | Sen. P.K. Martin (R – Lawrenceville) will hold the first Senate Information Technology Corridors in Georgia Study Committee on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton.
Senate Resolution 410, sponsored by Sen. Martin, created the Senate Information Technology Corridors in Georgia Study Committee. Sen. Martin will serve as chair of the five member study committee. The goal of the study committee is to explore the possibility of information technology corridors throughout Georgia and to review current state incentives for future technology growth. The study committee is responsible for submitting a report of findings and recommendations, including proposed legislation, by December 1, 2017.
