ATLANTA (August 21, 2019) | Sen. Emanuel Jones (D – Decatur), along with fellow co-chair of the DeKalb County Legislative Delegation Rep. Karla Drenner (D – Avondale Estates), will host several town hall meetings in the coming months to discuss legislative issues related to DeKalb County.
The town hall meetings will provide public hearings on Senate Bill 7, an Ethics bill which would propose adjustments to the DeKalb County Board of Ethics. SB 7 was passed during the 2019 session and requires ratification by citizens of DeKalb County in a special election on November 5, 2019.
