ATLANTA (August 29, 2025) — On Tuesday, September 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Chair of the Senate Democratic Caucus, Sen. Elena Parent (D–Atlanta), will hold a roundtable discussion on the recent developments at the Center of Disease Control (CDC) alongside Representatives Omari Crawford (D–Decatur), Saira Draper (D–Atlanta), Imani Barnes (D–Tucker) and Mary Margaret Oliver (D–Decatur). A press conference will immediately follow the roundtable discussion.
