Sen. Sheikh Rahman Awarded Rising Environmental Leader by the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators

ATLANTA (August 3, 2021) | On July 29, 2021, the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators (NCEL) presented Sen. Sheikh Rahman (D – Lawrenceville) with the annual Rising Environmental Leader Award. Given at their eighth annual National Forum, Sen. Rahman was selected by the Board of Directors for leadership in increasing outdoor recreation opportunities.

Asian American Pacific Islander State Legislators Introduce Legislation in Response to Shootings

ATLANTA (March 23, 2021) | State Senators Michelle Au (D – Johns Creek) and Sheikh Rahman (D – Lawrenceville), along with State Representatives Bee Nguyen (D – Atlanta), Sam Park (D – Lawrenceville) and Marvin Lim (D – Norcross), today announced a series of bills in response to the recent shootings in the metro Atlanta region.
