Senator Brandon Beach to Chair Senate Public Transportation in the Metropolitan Atlanta Region Study Committee
ATLANTA (June 10, 2013) – Senator Brandon Beach (R-Alpharetta) has been selected to Chair the Senate Public Transportation in the Metropolitan Atlanta Region Study Committee. Over the next several months, this study committee will study the current workings of public transportation in the metropolitan Atlanta region and report its findings on or before December 31, 2013. Sen. Brandon Beach Sponsors Bill Revising Labor Laws to Protect Employees
ATLANTA (March 26, 2013) – The Georgia State Senate passed House Bill 361 today by a vote of 36-16. HB 361, sponsored in the Senate by Senator Brandon Beach (R-Alpharetta), prohibits certain acts involving labor unions and collective bargaining. This was Sen. Sen. Brandon Beach’s “Patient Injury Act” Assigned to Summer Sub-Committee
ATLANTA (March 4, 2013) –Senate Bill 141, also known as the “Patient Injury Act,” was assigned to a summer subcommittee in the Senate Health and Human Services (HHS) Committee today. SB 141, sponsored by Sen. Brandon Beach (R-Alpharetta), would replace the state’s current medical malpractice system with a no-blame, administrative model and would reduce healthcare costs.
