Sen. Brandon Beach Sponsors Bill Revising Labor Laws to Protect Employees

ATLANTA (March 26, 2013) – The Georgia State Senate passed House Bill 361 today by a vote of 36-16.  HB 361, sponsored in the Senate by Senator Brandon Beach (R-Alpharetta), prohibits certain acts involving labor unions and collective bargaining.    This was Sen. Sen. Brandon Beach’s “Patient Injury Act” Assigned to Summer Sub-Committee

ATLANTA (March 4, 2013) –Senate Bill 141, also known as the “Patient Injury Act,” was assigned to a summer subcommittee in the Senate Health and Human Services (HHS) Committee today.  SB 141, sponsored by Sen. Sen. Brandon Beach Introduces “Patient Relief Act” in State Senate

ATLANTA (February 11, 2013) – Sen. Brandon Beach (R-Alpharetta) introduced Senate Bill 141, also known as the “Patient Relief Act,” in the State Senate today.  The act would replace the state’s current medical malpractice system with a no-blame, administrative model and would reduce healthcare costs. Sen. Brandon Beach Co-Sponsors Constitutional Amendment to Phase Out State Income Tax

ATLANTA (February 1, 2013) – Sen. Brandon Beach (R-Alpharetta) is co-sponsoring Senate Resolution 8 in the State Senate.  SR 8 is a proposal that would create a constitutional amendment to phase out the Georgia State Income Tax.  The resolution is now in the Senate Finance Committee where it is under consideration.
