ATLANTA (April 8, 2015) | House Bill 110, carried by Sen. Jeff Mullis (R – Chickamauga), will allow the sale and regulation of consumer fireworks in Georgia. The bill passed by a vote of 43 to 7 on March 31, 2015. The bill will keep fireworks revenue in-state and greatly improve fireworks safety by defining regulations for sale and use in Georgia.

ATLANTA (April 8, 2015) | James magazine, one of Georgia’s leading publications discussing Georgia news and politics, has selected Sen. Jeff Mullis (R – Chickamauga) as one of the magazine’s Most Influential Georgians. Once again, sleet and ice threatened metro Atlanta this week, forcing all state government offices to close at noon on Wednesday to ensure the safety of all state employees and Georgians. I think we can all agree that we were glad to see the winter weather pass and hope it will be the last of this kind of weather for the year.
