ATLANTA (April 2, 2020) | Last week, Apple Inc., in partnership with the White House Coronavirus Task Force, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), released a COVID-19 app and website. Content on these platforms will provide tools and offers a series of questions that Americans can use to determine whether or not they should seek care for COVID-19 symptoms. The app also provides CDC recommendations, including guidelines for social distancing and self-isolating, how to closely monitor symptoms, recommendations on testing and when to contact a medical provider.

ATLANTA (April 1, 2020) | Yesterday, Sen. John Albers (R – Roswell) announced two scholarships for graduating seniors residing in Senate District 56. The first scholarship will be designated for a student who plans to pursue a career as a first responder (firefighter, EMS, or law enforcement), while the second will be designated for a student planning to pursue a future in elected office. The amounts for each scholarship will be $500 and will be distributed directly to the institution of higher learning.
