Senator Kim Jackson to Serve as Chair of the Dekalb County Seat Delegation

ATLANTA (January 27, 2023) | Sen. Kim Jackson (D – Stone Mountain) has been elected Chair of the Dekalb County Senate Legislative Delegation for the 2023-2024 legislative term.

“I am excited and blessed to be elected chair of the delegation for Dekalb County and eager to start working with the other members of the delegation to tackle the issues,” said Sen. Jackson. “The citizens of Dekalb County share several concerns such as access to resources, cost of living, education and many more.”

Along with Sen. Merritt (D – Grayson) and Sen. Halpern (D – Atlanta), they will be the most diverse group of Delegation Chairs to lead the three biggest county delegations in Georgia.
