ATLANTA (September 9, 2025) —On Tuesday, September 16, the Senate Rules Subcommittee on Homeowners Associations (HOAs), chaired by Sen. Matt Brass (R–Newnan), will hold its first hearing.

ABOUT THE MEETING:
The Senate Rules Subcommittee on Homeowners Associations (HOAs) will analyze the current compliance of HOAs with state law and examine their role in Georgia communities. Subcommittee members will also consider Senate Bill 361 and the impact of HOAs on Georgians’ constitutional rights.
Members of the subcommittee include: Chairman Matt Brass, Vice Chairman Frank Ginn (R–Danielsville), Sen. Clint Dixon (R–Mulberry), Sen. Ed Harbison (D–Columbus), Sen. Chuck Hufstetler (R–Rome), Sen. Michael “Doc” Rhett (D–Marietta), Sen. Rick Williams (R–Milledgeville).
