ATLANTA (October 10, 2019) | Sen. P.K. Martin (R– Lawrenceville) will host the second meeting of the Senate Study Committee on Higher Education Outcomes on Thursday, October 17, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:10 p.m. at Georgia State University’s Stadium.

The Senate Study Committee on Education Outcomes was created by the passage of Senate Resolution 464 during the 2019 Legislative Session. As stated in the resolution, the committee shall be comprised of seven members of the Senate and two non-legislative members, one from the University System of Georgia and one from the Technical College System of Georgia. The committee will review the changing labor markets and evolving requirements for higher education including continuing education, certifications and degrees.
