Sen. Larry Walker Recognizes Robert Singletary on His Retirement

4Q8A5544ATLANTA (February 7, 2017) | Sen. Larry Walker (R — Perry) sponsored Senate Resolution 69 today recognizing Robert Singletary for his outstanding service to the city of Warner Robins and the Warner Robins Fire Department on the occasion of his retirement.

“I would like to congratulate and thank Robert Singletary for his career of service and dedication to the safety of Warner Robins,” said Sen. Walker. “Robert has dedicated 35 years to helping people in need and being a leader in the fire house and in our community. I am honored to have such selfless citizens, like Robert, represent our district and set the standard for leadership across the state.”

Singletary began his service with the Warner Robins Fire Department in 1982 and has served as the Fire Chief for the last 17 years. He also served as the President of the Georgia Association of Fire Chiefs for three years. He and his wife Sharon have been married for 32 years and are blessed with two children, Jessica and Ethan, and five grandchildren.
