ATLANTA (February 12, 2019) | Sen. John Albers (R – Roswell) sponsored Senate Resolution 28 which commends the Blessed Trinity Catholic High School Titans for their victory in the 2018 AAAA GHSA State Football Championship.
“I am proud of these young men for their incredible season, but more importantly for the teamwork, diligence and sportsmanship they demonstrated,” said Sen. Albers. “The Titans’ dedication to excellence is inspiring and I wish each of the players continued success in their endeavors, athletic and otherwise. I also want to commend the coaching staff for another great season.”
The Blessed Trinity Titans are coached by Tim McFarlin, who has been named the GACA State AAAA Coach of the Year as well as the 2018 National Catholic High Schools Coach of the Year. The Titans have now attained two consecutive State Championships and were undefeated in their 2018 season with a record of 15-0.
