Sen. Jeff Mullis Serves on Governor’s Escort Committee

ATLANTA (January 15, 2019)   | On Monday, January 14, 2019,  Governor Brian Kemp was escorted by a selection of some of Georgia’s most influential political leaders at his inauguration at Georgia Tech’s McCamish Pavilion. Senator Jeff Mullis (R – Chickamauga) was one of the distinguished members of this Inaugural Escort Committee.

“It was an honor to serve on this committee with my colleagues in the Senate,” said Sen. Mullis. “Governor Kemp is a true leader who will ensure that all Georgians are put first, no matter what part of the state they come from. I believe with his platform and strong commitment to keeping Georgia the number one state in which to do business, our state’s future is bright as ever.”

Sen. Mullis was selected to serve for his work in the Georgia Senate, where he has been a leader on key issues such as revamping transportation across the state and focusing on fighting the opioid epidemic. He serves as Chairman of the Rules Committee and as a member on the Appropriations, Economic Development and Tourism, and Regulated Industries and Utilities committees.
