Sen. Jack Murphy will Attend the NCSL Symposium for Emerging Leaders

ATLANTA (September 19, 2013) – Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle nominated Sen. Jack Murphy (R-Cumming) to participate in the National Conference for State Legislatures (NCSL) Symposium for Emerging Leaders from Oct. 28-30th to hone his legislative leadership skills.

“It’s a privilege to be selected to join this exclusive training seminar to help me become a better leader for Forsyth County,” said Sen. Murphy.  “To be a good leader, your education never stops; therefore, I look forward to learning from my peers and experts from across the nation at the NCSL Symposium for Emerging Leaders.”

The symposium will be at the NIKE campus in Beaverton, Oregon and will feature presentations from North Carolina Rep. Craig Horn, Massachusetts Rep. Jay Kaufman, experts like Thom Little from State Legislative Leaders Foundation and others.
