Sen. Hunter Hill Observes Georgia Cyber Academy Online Class

hillATLANTA (October 15, 2014) | State Senator Hunter Hill (R- Atlanta) recently met with representatives from the Georgia Cyber Academy to watch a live-action eighth grade online class.

“Education is crucial to our growth as a state and a country,” said Sen. Hill.  “For this reason, I was interested to observe how the Georgia Cyber Academy operates on a daily basis to see what the school has to offer students and parents.  What I realized is that this academy is working diligently to provide all children in Georgia with an equal opportunity to learn, no matter the stipulations.  Under the Georgia Cyber Academy, our students now have yet another option to receive a quality, tuition-free education led by state-certified teachers.”

The Georgia Cyber Academy uses the K-12 online curriculum to offer Georgia students in grades K-12 a tuition-free learning experience. The online curriculum covers both the core subject areas and electives, and high-quality lessons with mastery-based assessments that ensure students achieve success at each and every level. Their faculty is made-up of qualified Georgia-certified teachers, who work with students and parents over the phone and internet to achieve results.
