ATLANTA (July 1, 2021) | Today, President Pro Tempore Butch Miller (R – Gainesville) released the following statement on the recent passing of former Georgia legislator Pete Robinson:
“Pete Robinson was a dedicated public servant and will be greatly missed both here in the halls of the Capitol and throughout Georgia. He was the definition of a servant leader and always knew how to find common ground to make this state come together for the greater good. Even after his time in office, Pete remained active in state politics, always willing to share his wisdom and expertise. A fellow Pro Tem, his counsel was always welcome. His legacy will live on through the people of the state he worked so hard for. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and family during this difficult time.”
