Joint Defense and Veterans Affairs Committee to Hold Second Meeting
ATLANTA (November 14 2024) — On Tuesday, November 19,at 10:00 a.m., the Joint Defense and Veterans Affairs Committee, chaired by Sen. Chuck Payne (R–Dalton) and Rep. Josh Bonner (R–Fayetteville), will hold its second joint meeting in Augusta.

ABOUT THE COMMITTEE:
The Joint Defense and Veterans Affairs Committee is a combination of the Senate Veterans, Military and Homeland Security Standing Committee and the House Defense & Veterans Affairs Standing Committee. The joint committee will hear testimony from Georgia Department of Veterans Services Commissioner, Patricia Ross, and will hear from various veteran services organizations while discussing prominent issues related to Georgia veterans.
