Sen. Jeff Mullis Presents Sec. Sonny Perdue with Resolution Honoring Service

ATLANTA (October 5, 2017) | Sen. Jeff Mullis (R – Chickamauga), along with Sen. Steve Gooch (R – Dahlonega), Sen. Butch Miller (R – Gainesville) and Sen. John Wilkinson (R – Toccoa), recently met with U.S. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue in Washington, D.C. During their meeting, they presented him with a resolution congratulating him on his recent cabinet appointment. They also discussed agriculture issues and potential legislation that would impact the agriculture business in Georgia. The senators also met with Counselor to the President, Kellyanne Conway, to discuss other legislative initiatives in Georgia.

Wayne County Delegation Urges Congress to Oppose the Suspending of the Coal Ash Effluvia Rule

ATLANTA (October 2, 2017) | Sen. Blake Tillery (R – Vidalia), along with Rep. Chad Nimmer (R –Blackshear) and Rep. Bill Werkheiser (R – Glennville), sent a letter today to U.S. Sens. Johnny Isakson and David Perdue, and U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter urging them to oppose the recent decision by the Environmental Protection Agency to suspend the enforcement of coal ash effluvia rule.

Sen. Emanuel Jones Invites Public to Town Hall Meeting on I-285 Bridge Reconstruction Project
