Senate to Study Occupational Diseases of Firefighters and Peace Officers

ATLANTA (March 13, 2015) | Sen. John Albers (R- Roswell) sponsored Senate Resolution 282, which passed the Senate on Friday, which creates a Joint Peace Officer and Firefighter Occupational Disease Study Committee. The committee is charged with examining the various hazards and occupational diseases that are involved when public safety personnel apply for workers’ compensation.

Sen. John Albers Leads Passage of the Digital Classroom Act

ATLANTA (March 3, 2015) | Sen. Albers (R- Roswell) led the passage of Senate Bill 89, known as the “Digital Classroom Act,” today by a vote of 45 to 8.
