ATLANTA (August 2, 2018) | Senator Blake Tillery (R – Vidalia) recently announced his 2nd Youth Legislator Scholarship Contest kicked-off yesterday, August 1. The scholarship is awarded biennially to three middle or high school students who are residents of Senate District 19. Winners are chosen based on their essay on one of two prompts given by Sen. Wayne County Delegation Urges Congress to Oppose the Suspending of the Coal Ash Effluvia Rule
ATLANTA (October 2, 2017) | Sen. Blake Tillery (R – Vidalia), along with Rep. Chad Nimmer (R –Blackshear) and Rep. Bill Werkheiser (R – Glennville), sent a letter today to U.S. Sens. Johnny Isakson and David Perdue, and U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter urging them to oppose the recent decision by the Environmental Protection Agency to suspend the enforcement of coal ash effluvia rule.
