Expanding Georgia’s Workforce Study Committee to Hold Second Meeting in Savannah

ATLANTA (July 21, 2023) | On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, the Senate Study Committee on Expanding Georgia’s Workforce, chaired by Senator John Albers (R – Roswell), will hold its second meeting at 10:00 a.m. at the Savannah Economic Development Authority office in historic Savannah. The committee will be hearing testimony from regional industry leaders, economic development organizations, and state agencies that operate in the area.

Senate Study Committee on Certificate of Need (CON) Reform to Hold First Meeting

ATLANTA (June 12, 2023) | Tomorrow, the Senate Study Committee on Certificate of Need (CON) Reform, chaired by Senator Greg Dolezal (R – Cumming), will be holding its first meeting at 9:00 a.m. in 450 CAP. The Senate Study Committee on CON Reform was established through the passage of Senate Resolution 279, sponsored by Chairman Dolezal during the 2023 Georgia Legislative Session. The committee has been tasked with reviewing the state of the Certificate of Need program in Georgia. The committee will hold a series of meetings throughout the state, with future meeting dates to be announced at a later time. Gwinnett Senate and House Legislative Delegations to Hold Joint Town Hall

ATLANTA (May 16, 2023) | On Thursday, May 18, 2023, the members of the Gwinnett Senate and House Legislative Delegations will hold a town hall at 6 p.m. at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center (GJAC). The town hall will consist of a Q&A with the members of the delegations as well as an in-depth look on the economic status of the state and Gwinnett County.
