Jason Esteves (D – Atlanta) was sworn in by Georgia Supreme Court Justice Charlie Bethel to serve Senate District 6 in the Georgia State Senate, which includes portions of Fulton and Cobb County. Sen. Esteves will serve on the Senate Committees on Agriculture and Consumer Affairs, Children and Families, Finance, Interstate Cooperation, and State and Local Governmental Operations. Jan. 9, 2023, marked the beginning of his two-year term in the Georgia Senate and the official beginning of the 2023 Legislative Session.
