First Meeting of the Senate Stroke Trauma Center Study Committee

ATLANTA (August 29, 2017) | The first meeting of the Senate Stroke Trauma Center Study Committee will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Macon, Georgia at the Medical Center, Navicent Health.

Sen. John F. Kennedy (R – Macon) sponsored Senate Resolution 412 which created the Senate Stoke Trauma Center Study Committee. The study committee is comprised of four members of the Senate and four non-legislative members who will examine the status of stroke trauma care in Georgia. The study committee is responsible for submitting a report of findings and recommendations, including proposed legislation, by December 1, 2017.
