ATLANTA (April 16, 2018) | Senator Dean Burke (R – Bainbridge) is happy to announce that Taurus USA will be creating 300 jobs and investing more than $22.5 million in the City of Bainbridge in Decatur County. The announcement was made last week by Governor Nathan Deal and David Blenker, president and CEO of Taurus USA.
“I want to commend Governor Deal and President and CEO Blenker for working with our local community to bring these jobs to Decatur County,” said Sen. Burke. “The construction of this brand new facility and employment of skilled labor positions is critical to the economic development future of Decatur County and surrounding community. I look forward to working with everyone involved to help ensure the expansion goes as smoothly as possible.”
Taurus USA, a leading firearms manufacturer, plans to break ground in September 2018 on a new 200,000-square-foot facility with 180,000 square feet dedicated to manufacturing and 20,000 square feet dedicated to administrative services.
