ATLANTA- (Tuesday, July 12, 2011) – Senate Majority Leader Sen. Chip Rogers (R-Woodstock) has been chosen to serve as a member of The Council of State Governments’ International Committee for 2011 and 2012. CSG is a nonpartisan organization that fosters partnerships of learning by advising state government officials and leaders in their process of formulating public policy. In his new role, Rogers will help the committee track global economic developments and how they will impact state government. CSG national committees meet twice a year.
