Sen. Kay Kirkpatrick to Recognize Members of Grady’s PIVOT Program in the Senate Chamber
ATLANTA (February 18, 2019) | On Wednesday, February 20, Sen. Kay Kirkpatrick (R – Marietta) will present members of Grady’s PIVOT program with a Senate Resolution. The PIVOT Program, or Program to Interrupt Violence through Outreach and Treatment, at Grady Memorial Hospital is “an evidence-based and data-driven initiative based at Grady that is focused on reducing gun violence by preventing repeat victimization/hospitalization and retaliatory incidents.” Public viewing is available in the Senate Chamber Gallery located on the fourth floor of the state Capitol, or will be available to view on livestream here: https://livestream.com/accounts/26021522/events/7940809
