ATLANTA (Jan. 4, 2010) – State Senate Majority Leader Chip Rogers (R-Woodstock), and other members of the Senate Property Tax Assessment and Appeals Committee will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 6. Members of the committee will evaluate the assessment process for both individual and corporate property taxes in Georgia. The committee was created last session to address fluctuating property values due to the decline in Georgia’s economy.
