ATLANTA (June 24, 2013) – State Senator Tyler Harper (R-Ocilla) recently attended GOPAC’s Emerging Leaders’ Summit in New York City, NY to take part in their Emerging Leader program, a yearlong initiative to coach, develop and promote promising conservative state legislators.
“It was an honor to take part in GOPAC’s influential and important summit with some of the most promising conservative legislators in nation,” said Sen. Harper. “I look forward to continuing my work with this upstanding organization as I strive to enact policies that promote economic growth while protecting our family values at the State Capitol in Atlanta.”
“Once again, this year’s Emerging Leaders represent the brightest up and coming leaders from states across the country,” said GOPAC Chairman Frank Donatelli. “The Emerging Leader program ensures the Republican Party has a deep bench of prepared and tested leaders. This year’s class of legislators exhibits the ability to lead and the drive to push our party forward; we’re thrilled to equip them with the tools to do so.”
Sen. Harper was selected due to his commitment to limited government ideals being implemented by Republicans at the state level throughout the country, leading to more private sector jobs, more effective government at lower costs and increased prosperity.
