Senator John Albers Reads to Students at the Children’s Development Academy

ATLANTA (July 9, 2018) | Senator John Albers (R – Roswell) recently visited the Children’s Development Academy in Roswell, Georgia to read to rising Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) students. During his visit, the students not only heard a reading from Sen. Albers but also got to hear about his experience as a Senator and volunteer firefighter.

“It was wonderful to read to these 4-year-olds who thought a book and being a firefighter is very cool compared to being a Senator,” said Sen. Albers. “Interacting with the kids was enlightening and was a reminder of why I serve as a Senator – to do all I can to ensure that all of Georgia’s children have a bright future ahead of them. The Pre-K program, like the one at this academy, is instrumental as a building block for our children’s education and I fully support it. The entire staff at the school was wonderful and I look forward to making another visit in the near future.”

The Children’s Development Academy has been operating in Roswell, Georgia for nearly half a century. Their mission is to offer “affordable early learning programs and childcare for preschool children in the metro Atlanta area.”
