Senator Donzella James Announced As Recipient of 25th Annual Environmental Justice Award

ATLANTA (April 21, 2020) | Today, Sen. Donzella James (D – Atlanta) announced that she been named a recipient of the 25th Annual Environmental Justice Award from the Georgia Research Environmental Economic Network, Inc. (GREEN).

“More than ever, we must make every effort to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our generation and the future generations to come,” said Sen. James. “It is everyone’s responsibility to take care of our planet and to reduce our carbon footprint. By protecting the environment, we are protecting humanity. I am proud of the great work GREEN has done to help create a more sustainable future and I am honored to have received such as a prestigious award.”
