Senate Study Committee on Food Delivery Apps Holds Meeting to Adopt Final Committee Report

ATLANTA (November 1, 2022) | Today, the Senate Study Committee on Food Delivery Apps chaired by Sen. Elena Parent (D – Atlanta) held its final meeting to discuss recommendations and adopt the final study committee report. The report was adopted unanimously as written.

“I am very pleased with the work this study committee was able to accomplish over the last several months. The presentations and public testimony we received in each meeting allowed the committee to gain a deeper understanding of the inner workings of many third party food delivery apps,” said Sen. Parent. “With the help of this study committee, the Senate will be able to move forward into the 2023 legislative session with greater knowledge of ways to improve and streamline the effectiveness, functionality, and safety of food delivery apps across Georgia.”
