She is a shining example of somebody who is committed to serving those in need and tirelessly works to leave a lasting impact on our communities. I would also like to congratulate the additional honorees, including Fayette County’s own Tish Naghise.”
The Georgia Women’s Legislative Caucus is a bipartisan group of legislators from both the Georgia House and Senate who work together to promote issues important to women and families. Additionally, they also recognize women who have made outstanding contributions to their local communities through the Georgia Legislative Women’s Caucus ‘Servant Leadership Award’.
Recipients of this award must have exhibited a commitment to leaving an enduring, positive impact on their communities while fulfilling their duties as mothers, spouses, professionals, and engaged citizens. This annual event includes recognition in both state houses as well as ceremonial breakfast and a Yellow Rose evening reception.
