ATLANTA (November 23, 2020) | On Friday, November 20, 2020, Sen. Larry Walker (R – Perry) was re-elected by the members of the Majority Caucus to serve as Caucus Vice Chairman; a position he was first elected to in 2018.
“It is a privilege to be able to serve the great members of the Senate and state in this role, as we continue to promote legislation that builds an even stronger Georgia,” said Sen. Walker. “Our caucus has been working tirelessly over the years to ensure the betterment of those that live here and my intent has been and remains on finding fiscally sound ways we can support local businesses and families, alike, especially as we approach the upcoming legislative session. Sen. Walker was first elected to the Georgia State Senate in 2015 to represent District 20. He currently serves as a member on the Agriculture and Consumer Affairs, Appropriations, Health and Human Services, and Insurance and Labor Committees, as well as an Ex-Officio of the Retirement, Rules, and Veterans, Military and Homeland Security Committees.
