Sen. John Albers Attends VETLANTA Third Quarter Summit

ATLANTA (August 1, 2018) | Sen. John Albers (R – Roswell), along with several Senate colleagues and Congressional staff, participated in a round table discussion during the VETLANTA Third Quarter Summit.

“It was an honor to be asked to participate and to support this great cause,” said Sen. Albers. “I believe the discussion we had on some of the biggest challenges our veterans face was very beneficial and I see a lot of issues that can be addressed if we all keep the lines of communication open. It is our duty to do all we can to ensure that our veteran community has all of the resources they need to find employment opportunities. We must work together to encourage businesses to hire these brave, deserving and skilled men and women.”

VETLANTA is “a collaboration of 2,000 veteran advocates in the region representing Veteran Business Resource Groups from multiple Fortune 500 companies, businesses of all sizes, academia, government, non-profits and volunteers.” This organization does not handle the collection or distributions of funds in any capacity. As stated by Lloyd Knight, Founder and President of VETLANTA, “our focus is to serve the veteran community through collaboration and volunteerism.”
