Sen. James Host Media Events Thursday at the State Capitol

State Sen. Donzella James (D-College Park) invites family members and friends of ex-offenders to the Georgia State Capitol on Thursday, April 29 to find solutions to housing, employment and re-entry initiatives. She will be joined by her colleagues from the Senate and House.

Sen. James will join Rep. Roberta Abdul-Salaam (D-Riverdale) and Going the Green Mile founder Debra Clark to sponsor the “Going the Green Mile” event at the state capitol.  Representatives from the Green Mile organization will discuss a variety of environmental topics including recycling, energy conservation and ways to reduce carbon footprints.
