ATLANTA (March 18, 2021) | Sen. Dean Burke (R – Bainbridge) is proud to announce the rehabilitation project of the Donalsonville Municipal Airport located in Seminole County, Georgia. The Donalsonville-Seminole County Airport Commission will be responsible for the engineering design services required for the airport rehabilitation.
“The rehabilitation of the Donalsonville Municipal Airport will help give a much needed update to our regional airport,” said Sen. Burke. “As your state Senator from Bainbridge, I am pleased to support this important driver for our county’s economy. I look forward to seeing this project play out and the many benefits it will bring my constituents.”
The total project will cost an estimated $72,375.00, provided by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) FY19A Grant to the Department ($65,137.50), FY20A Grant to the Department ($3,618.75), and the Capital Outlay-Airport Aid Program detail of the Intermodal Transfer Facility FY21 Budget ($3,618.75).
