ATLANTA (November 16, 2018) | Today, Sen. Bruce Thompson (R – White) presented Cartersville’s C.L. Tidwell with a Senate Resolution, recognizing the time and dedication Mr. Tidwell has put in to building relationships with government officials and community members.
“It’s not every day that you meet such an honest, genuine and selfless person as C.L. Tidwell, or further, have the opportunity to call him a friend,” said Sen. Thompson. “I was so honored to stand before my colleagues in the Senate to present C.L. with a Senate Resolution, as well as read a proclamation written by Governor Nathan Deal on the outstanding man Mr. Tidwell is. The kindness and compassion he shows to his family, friends and anyone he encounters speaks volumes to the character he encompasses. For more than 30 years, C.L. has hosted a monthly breakfast for citizens and government officials to create community conversations and relationships, and I truly admire this time and attention he gives to us all.”
C.L. Tidwell was honored with Senate Resolution 10EX on the fourth day of the 2018 special legislative session.
