ATLANTA (October 30, 2014) | State Senator Brandon Beach (R- Alpharetta) was on hand for the grand opening of the Avalon mixed-use development in Alpharetta, Ga. on Thursday, October 30.
“We took a close look at the success of live, work and play developments around the state and decided this type of investment would thrive in Alpharetta,” says Sen. Beach. “We currently project Avalon generating approximately $21 million in sales tax revenue, a huge economic contributor to our city; not to mention the number of jobs it will bring to North Fulton. I am thankful to all those who poured countless hours of hard-work into making this a reality, I know Avalon will thrive for generations to come.”
Avalon is an 86 acre development with more than 500,000 square feet of retail, a 12-screen Regal Theater, 105,000 square feet of Class A office space, 101 single-family residences and 250 luxury rental homes. The development is located at 2200 Avalon Boulevard in Alpharetta at the corner of Georgia Highway 400 and Old Milton Parkway.
