ATLANTA (January 20, 2012) –Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle has appointed Sen. Bill Jackson (R-Appling) to the Georgia Music Hall of Fame Advisory Board.
“It’s a privilege to be selected to join my colleagues who also share a passion for preserving and honoring music on the Georgia Music Hall of Fame Advisory Board,” Sen. Jackson said. “Music can preserve history and uplift spirits, which is the reason I look forward to my work with this board.”
Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle offered his remarks to Sen. Jackson’s appointment:
“It was a pleasure to appoint Senator Bill Jackson to the Georgia Music Hall of Fame Advisory Board. Knowing Bill and his love for music, I felt like he would be a great addition to this board and a respected voice to the decisions at hand.”
