Sen. Albers Welcomes Daniella Khoury as Summer 2015 Intern

Daniella Khoury (Intern)ATLANTA (June 1, 2015) | Sen. John Albers (R-Roswell) welcomes Daniella Khoury, a 2014 Roswell High School graduate, as an intern in his office for the summer of 2015.  Interns help with various tasks around the office including research, website maintenance, community events and meetings with state leaders.

“Providing a local high school graduate with the opportunity to learn about local politics not only allows me to continue my commitment to Senate District 56, it allows me to share my knowledge with future leaders,” said Sen. Albers. “Daniella is a reliable and diligent addition to my team. I know that she will continue to be successful in her bright future.”

Daniella is a rising sophomore at Elon University in North Carolina. She is a double major in Political Science and International Studies with minors in Leadership Studies, Middle East Studies and Peace and Conflict studies. She is a member of the Isabella Cannon Leadership Fellows program, where, along with her cohort, she works on bettering Elon through leadership and community outreach.  When not doing schoolwork, Daniella can be found working on her photography, reading books and keeping up with the Economist. Daniella is extremely active in the Elon Model United Nations Society, where she has competed in conferences at UNC Chapel Hill, where she received an Outstanding Delegate award. She has also competed at Princeton University where she was the Minister of Jerusalem Affairs in the Palestinian Representatives committee.  She plans on attending law school after she graduates in 2018.
