Blake Tillery (R – Vidalia) has just announced that the application window for his Third Youth Legislator Scholarship Contest will open on October 12, 2020, to any middle and high school students residing in Senate District 19. As part of the process, candidates will be asked to submit an essay on one of two prompts related to inspiring youth to get involved with the state government process before the November 20, 2020 deadline.

HB 86 requires a policy to be created for teachers to appeal performance ratings notated in teacher personnel evaluations.
