ATLANTA (September 23, 2016) | Sen. William Ligon (R – Brunswick) and Rep. Ron Stephens (R – Savannah) are pleased to share that the Coastal Regional Commission (CRC) awarded $92,000 for six Coastal Georgia Greenway (CGG) projects on September 14, 2016. Sen. William Ligon Calls on Citizens to Find Georgia’s Fallen Vietnam Veterans
ATLANTA (February 4, 2016) | As part of a statewide initiative, Sen. William Ligon (R – Brunswick) is calling on all Georgians to honor our Vietnam Veterans. The multimedia display at the new Education Center at Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall (‘The Wall’) is still missing many pictures of Georgia’s fallen Vietnam War Veterans. The display honors those who gave the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War, including 1,584 Georgia soldiers. This effort is part of a national program by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) to put a face with each of the 58,300 fallen veterans from across the nation whose names appear on ‘The Wall.’ Continue reading “Sen.
