Senate Passes Bill for Temporary Driving Permits or ID Cards for Authorized Noncitizens
ATLANTA (March 1, 2013) – The Georgia Senate passed Senate Bill 122 today by a vote of 51 to 0. Sponsored by Sen. Hunter Hill (R-Smyrna), this bill allows the issuing of a temporary 120 day driving permit or ID card to authorized noncitizens whose driver’s license or ID card has expired or is about to expire.
