Blake Tillery (R – Vidalia) recently announced the City of Baxley has been awarded a contract to fund the rehabilitation of Baxley Municipal Airport’s runway and taxiway as part of the Fiscal Year 2020 Airport Aid Program. The contract award is worth over $1.95 million and is being federally funded through the Federal Aviation Administration’s grant to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT).
