Larry Walker (R – Perry) attended the third in a series of Senate Study Committee hearings on Barriers to Georgians Access to Adequate Healthcare in Atlanta on Monday, November 6, 2017. The study committee, chaired by Sen. Renee Unterman (R – Buford), is focused on finding solutions to problems facing Georgians around the state in relation to access to healthcare.

Sen. Larry Walker Honored with Service Award by Georgia Military Officers Association

ATLANTA (September 28, 2017) | Sen. Larry Walker (R — Perry) was recently named the recipient of the LTC Joseph Barto Award by the Georgia Military Officers Association of America (GMOAA). The award was given to recognize Sen. Walker for his service and dedication to supporting our nation’s military in the state Senate, and especially for his efforts in passing Senate Bill 108, which created a Women Veterans Office in the Department of Veterans Service.
