ATLANTA (November 4, 2016) | Sen. Larry Walker (R- Perry) commends the State Board of Education for its decision to eliminate Georgia Milestones End-of-Course tests for students who receive post-secondary credit through dual enrollment, a recommendation made by State Superintendent Richard Woods. This decision follows the passage of Senate Bill 364, sponsored by Sen. Lindsey Tippins (R- Marietta), during the 2015 legislative session. Continue reading “Sen. Portion of I-75 Named Governor Sonny Perdue Highway

I-75 dedicationATLANTA (August 31, 2016) | Senator Larry Walker III (R – Perry) co-hosted the official dedication of the Governor Sonny Perdue Highway on August 30, 2016. The event was attended by Guest of Honor, the Honorable Sonny Perdue and several leaders in the legislature, state and local community. During the event, Senate Appropriations Chairman Jack Hill (R – Reidsville) and United States Senator David Perdue (R – GA) expressed appreciation for Governor Perdue’s years of service to Georgia and for his family’s steadfast support.
